Aside from TaeKwonDo I enjoy playing Rugby, Volleyball and Cricket. I also used to Fence at a fairly high level (trust me, fighting is so much easier when you have a bloody big sword!)
I love literature, music and musicians, art and photography and having a beer.

I started my training aged 8 years old with Day's TaeKwonDo under the instruction of Des Day who was my mentor for many years to come.
I graded further up the belts as I grew up and took my 1st Dan aged 16 in Sheffield under the examination of Grandmaster Park Soo Nam and the masters panel in 2003.
I carried on training at the club before moving away to the University of Chester where I am now in my second year studying English Literature.
TaeKwonDo saved my life from an early age, it gave me courage and fortitude when things were hard and it taught me to keep my discipline not just with others but most importantly with myself.
I have recently been elected to help instruct a fledgling club at my University and the members are looking to me for tuition, looks like I have extra Korean to study!

Im 20 years old and originally from Winchester in Hampshire, a typical Batchelor and loving every minute of it!
