ABOUT ME
I'm a freelance broadcast journalist specialising in sport - people pay me to watch, write and talk about sport!

I live with my boyfriend of three years in Yorkshire - a beautiful part of the world with down to earth people.

TKD TESTIMONY
TKD and I met in 1996 at a demo for a new TAGB club in my home town in Warwickshire.

I loved it from the word go - the discipline, the co-ordination, the art, the power... but the training times collided with football training - and I went with that.

Nearly 11 years later, I found myself short on confidence and missing something. I found a nearby club and went along - and fell for it completely.

I could have regraded for the equivalent belt I was when I left - green - but decided to start again from scratch and I'm so glad I did.

Going back at age 27, I have a different maturity and a newfound passion for something more than just the sport aspect... and I'm loving it, loving it, loving it!

Yeah i know what you mean, work can sometimes get in the way of training, makes me mad and frustrated. Grrrr!!

Xmas im just touring the south east visiting members of family which will be cool. Trying to maintain an exercise regime at the same time as to not undo my hard work lol!


I got one more training session left this year, i wont know what to do to fill the gaps. lol


So i see ur a regular at the english champs? Will you be competing in the 2009 champs in march? I'm thinking of entering too....any tips? ;-)


So how often do you train? if you dont mind me asking. I would love to do a bit more training of my own outside the dojang but im pretty limited on venues.

Grading was good, kept my composure and completed all everything correctly and to my best ability. Answered all my questions right too. Got 5 Q's this time. Show me L stance, what is the korean for L stance, what is the weight distribution? What is the korean for double punch and what is the meaning of Chon Ji?


Go them all correct thanks to hitting the theory books real hard!


Been told we should hopefully find out if we passed this week. Woo Hoo.


We finish on 19th and no more training til 6th :-(, so im hoping i dont undo all my hard work by over indulging at xmas. lol
