Certified Instructor April 2006
2nd Dan April 2007
Senior Certified Instructor February 2008

I've competed in 17 tournaments since I started TKD. I've won 16 trophies/medals in Forms and 11 in Sparring. The awards are great souvineers but the reason I go to tournaments is to see other people who love TKD as much as I do.

I love rock music. AC/DC and The Beatles are a couple of my favorite bands. I also like Nickleback, Rob Zombie, and tons of stuff in between. Right now my favorite song is Fake It by Seether.

Anything by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I also like Janet Evanovich, Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson and Anne Rice.

I started TKD as a stress reliever in January '04. My previous employer went under and I was given the opportunity to return to a local college to retrain for another career. School was so stressful. All I was able to do was attend class, study, eat and sometimes sleep. I really needed a physical outlet and I'm just no good in a gym. I needed someone to tell me what to do. I tried a TKD class and ended up finding a new passion! I've been training at the same school since that first class. I loved it so much that now I work there behind the counter and as an Instructor. My life centers around TKD and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I train and work at Concord Taekwondo.

(The Stand is an awesome book. Definitely one of my favorites, but I love soooo many of his books, it's hard to pick just one. Have you read Duma Key yet? )

No I haven't read Duma Key. A good friend gave me a book to read and it is hard to make the time! Things are slowing down here a bit so I hope to have some 'me' time. Glad to hear you are back to training. We decided to take June and July off. Too much going on and a short summer. Nash goes to year round school so the summers are only 8 weeks, but we get more time off during the year. Looking forward to vacation this July.

Thanks for the add. How are you?

Trying to catch my breath! Our oldest son is graduating from High School this month and we have been busy. I have another son starting middle school next year, we train together. He is preparing for his black belt test. How goes it with you?

Warrior of the light Third delivers  A warrior of the light you have the qualities of a rock.  When it is in flat area - everything in his environment found the harmony-, it is kept stable.  The persons can construct his or her houses on what it was created, because the tempest will not destroy it.   When, on the other hand, they place it in sloping area - and the things that surround it do not demonstrate balance or respect-, he reveals his true force; it rolls towards the enemy who threatens the peace.   In this moment, the warrior is devastating, and nobody manages to detain it.   A warrior of the light thinks about the war and about the peace at the same time, and can act in agreement with the circumstances. The warrior of the light sometimes acts as the water, and flows among  the obstacles that he finds.  In certain moments, to resist means to be destroyed; then, he adapts to the circumstances. She agrees without protesting that the stones of the way plan his course across the mountains. In this the force of the water resides; it can never be a gully for a hammer, not hurt by a knife. The most powerful sword of the world is unable to leave a scar on , your surface. The water of a river adapts to the most feasible way, without forgetting his lens:  the sea. Fragile in his birth, slowly he is acquiring the force of other rivers that he finds. And from a certain moment, your power is total.

Hi great to meet you!  You are right, it's difficult to find women who truly are passionate about motorcycles.  Most women that ride get into it because of their sig. other.  My husband doesn't ride and doesn't ever want to!  I have been into motorcycles ever since i was a kid.
