Motorcycles (2006 FLSTC), fiddle practice, action movies, all sports including running, hockey (not so much in Texas),the television and the Internet, driving kids around

In June, my daughter and I entered the Texas state ITA TKD championships in Houston. She won bronze in both sparring and forms. I won bronze in forms and silver in sparring. It had been 18 yrs since my last tournament.

I like mostly 70's rock & roll but any good rock and I like the heavy metal in smaller doses. To temper all the noise, I play the fiddle, celtic and maritime music. and bagpipes! I love the sound of the pipes!

Any good crime thriller to pass the time, the odd western, technical books (if I have to), and anything scary.

I started studying Tae Kwon Do (WTF) when I was 18 in Nova Scotia. After 2 years, I left home for work in Alberta and after a 4 year break, I started again in Calgary. I stopped again after mt first daughter was born and 15 yrs later, she asked me to start class with her. I started from scratch and we have been going for 3 years now. We are i an ITA school for the first time and our whole family is involved. My wife started last week at her first class.

I am a Canadian living in the USA. I've only been here a year but we're loving it, especially the warm (too hot right now) weather year round. I'm married 19 yrs in two weeks time and have three kids, two girls and a boy. I was born on the east coast, lived in Calgary for 20 years and have been on the move since 2005.
