Teaching and training TKD and other arts, gymnastics, producing music.

Received 1st Dan

All kinds of music. I actually produce my own music with my laptop, keyboard, and drum pad!

I don't read as much as I should. I read some martial arts philosophy from time to time.

I owe my start and introduction to TKD and martial arts in general to my ex and close friend, Kari "Blondie" Whitmer. I started training with her when we were dating. She is now a 2nd Dan black belt and has been slacking from training...I am going to try and get her back into the Dojang.

Because of my TKD training, I have opened up as a more social person. I was VERY shy in high school and I hated talking in front of a group and did not handle stressful situations well at all.. TKD has given me a lot of self confidence and has helped me with my job.

I am currently a private investigator and do work as a loss prevention officer. I am going to pursue a career as a police officer in the next year or two.

I have taken about 3 years of classes at Bowling Green State University towards an exercise science degree. Training in martial arts just fascinated me about how the human body can move and what its capable of.

My name is Mark Telles but all my close friends call me Chico. I started my training in December of 2003 and I have been a hard working overachiever since lol.

I have cross-trained in my different styles including boxing, jui-jitsu, judo, kempo, some muay thai, a little capoeira, and some fencing for the footwork and blocking/parrying concepts.

My TKD Dojang is located in Waterville, OH. There are many wonderful students and fellow instructors.

Head instructor: Mr. Alan Adam - 4th Dan
Grandmaster: Duk An Yun - 9th Dan

Hello Sir! Great to see you on the site again. Did you receive my invite?

Looking forward to seeing you and training with you at the end of the month.

Hello! Which invite are you referring to? Yes I look forward to seeing Adam's school again! I'll be staying an extra day this time.  I plan on spending some more time there.  Will there be anything special for Grandmaster that I should be aware of?
