Reached 3rd degree Dec. 1995 under now Senior Master Mark Smith. Performed high rank demo at Nov.testing. Helping others get better. Breaks - standing jump spin 360 side kick, split kick, 4 2" cured blocks, 4 in. wood side kick.

I've trained for a little over 7 years total. I originally started in 1989 but had to take a break from 1996 until 2006. June will be 2 years since I started back. I'm currently a 3rd deg L4 with the ITA. My son started when I started back and has just received his 1st deg L1 (prob) belt. I have only been in the instructor program since last May and am currently a level 2 instructor. My son is a level 1 instructor.

Awesome. I got my brain scattered, smothered, and chunked at sparring clinic tonight. That just hurts all the way around...especially the pride! You ever get stuck in a sparring rut? I think I may be stuck. Sigh. But, I finally got my new uniform back today with the black trimp around the bottom. SWEET! I feel official now. So, all was not lost!
